Job Description:
- Work as an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive in Financial Services/Professional Services PR agency
- Work with a great client roster (Many of their clients they have had for 10+ years and include wealth and asset management, alternatives, private equity, real estate, investment products, fintech, hedge funds)
- Work on media relations, messaging, strategy, client development, etc.
- Develop strong client relationships, working hands on with them and interfacing regularly
- Be part of a small tight nit agency
- Hybrid schedule 2X a week in office work (Boston based) with paid travel to NYC on a semi regular basis
Job Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience Financial Services PR or other B2B marketing/PR
- Understanding of best practices for engaging media/media relations experience (earned media experience especially welcomed)
- Must have excellent writing skills
- Comfortability interfacing with clients
- Pitch and secure media opportunities on a consistent basis, even beyond planned outreach
- Genuine and intrinsic interest in financial services and professional services PR
- Social media/digital skills welcomed!
- Keeping up with market trends
- Be a team player and ambassador by doing things like attending local events and other networking opportunities
- Willingness to travel 2 days a week to work in Boston based office and travel to NYC paid every few months
- Bonus if you have experience working with wealth and asset management PR, or private equity/the alternatives space
